So Many Affiliate Programs! Which One Do I Choose ?

Ask questions first before you join an affiliate program. Do a little research about the choices of program that you intend to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on.

Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

When do they issue the commission checks? Every program is different. Some issue their checks once a month, every quarter, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued.

What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

How are referrals from an affiliate’s site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links.

Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to be able to hit ratio.

Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee.

Lastly, what is the amount of commission paid? 5% - 20% is the commission paid by most programs. .01% - .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website. Try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions. These can help you select the right program for you site from among the many available.

Written By A Young Soldier- What Do You Think

This is written by a young soldier
serving his third tour of duty in
Iraq . Thought you might find his
take on the Michael Jackson news
interesting and I think he's right.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Folks,
Okay, I need to rant.
I was just watching the news, and I
caught part of a report on Michael
Jackson. As we all know, Jackson
died the other day. He was an
entertainer who performed for
decades. He made millions, he
spent millions, and he did a lot of
things that make him a villain to
many people. I understand that
his death would affect a lot of
people, and I respect those people
who mourn his death, but that
isn't the point of my rant.
Why is it that when ONE man dies,
the whole of America loses their
minds with grief. When a man
dies whose only contribution to
the country was to ENTERTAIN
people, the American people
find the need to flock to a memorial
in Hollywood , and even Congress
sees the need to hold a "moment
of silence" for his passing?
Am I missing something here?
ONE man dies, and all of a sudden
he's a freaking martyr because he
entertained us for a few decades?
What about all those SOLDIERS
who have died to give us freedom?
All those Soldiers who, knowing
that they would be asked to fight
in a war, still raised their hands
and swore to defend the Constitution
and the United States of America .
Where is their moment of silence?
Where are the people flocking to
their graves or memorials and
mourning over them because they
made the ultimate sacrifice? Why
is it when a Soldier dies, there
are more people saying "good
riddance," and "thank God for
IEDs?" When did this country
become so calloused to the
sacrifice of GOOD MEN and
WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily
blow off their deaths, and instead,
throw themselves into mourning
for a "Pop Icon?"
I think that if they are going to hold
a moment of silence IN CONGRESS
for Michael Jackson, they NEED to
hold a moment of silence for every
service member killed in Iraq and
Afghanistan . They need to
PUBLICLY recognize every life that
has been lost so that the American
people can live their callous little
lives in the luxury and freedom that
WE, those that are living and those
that have gone on, have provided
for them. But, wait, that would
take too much time, because there
have been so many willing to make
that sacrifice. After all, we will
never make millions of dollars.
We will never star in movies, or
write hit songs that the world will
listen too. We only shed our blood,
sweat and tears so that people can
enjoy what they have.
Sorry if I have offended, but I needed
to say it,like it is. Remember these
five words the next time you think
of someone who is serving in the
military;
"So that others may live..."
The Four Critical Questions of MLM
Guerilla Tactics. Viral Marketing. Covert Recruiting. Top Secret Strategies.
Businesses will often use these exciting words to hype up a product and distract
from the boring (albeit important) business details.
You get caught up in the excitement of a renegade way to make cash, and
focus less on the important aspects, like:
     How is the money made?
     How much is made?
     How reliable is it?
     What do I have to do to become involved?
These are the Four Critical Questions that must be asked when becoming
involved with any network marketing company.
This is Larry Guzda from Stevensville, Ontario, and I know how important
it is to understand the answers to those questions.
Having been in this industry for 4 years, I understand that there is a lot of hype
out there, with not enough substance.
The Four Critical Questions of MLM. !!!
These are the real questions that need to be answered in MLM. As exciting
as the MLM Guerilla Virus is, unless you can see through the fancy action
words, you are no closer to putting groceries on the table.
That is why it is so important to find a system out there that will give it to you
straight.
A business opportunity that will level with you, and give you real answers to
the Four Critical Questions of MLM.
A close look at these questions will help you know if a system is good for you.
   1) How is the money made?
Before you even know how much you can make, it is important to know where
the money comes from. Product sales? Recruiting bonuses? Commissions? Fewer
large payouts? Many smaller deposits? This is the most important thing to find out.
  2) How much can be made?
Like Question #1, this is extremely important, and it can be difficult to determine.
Sales pitches will always give you the most optimistic results imaginable, so its up
to you to sift through the sales shout and consider what is being promised and how
they are promising it. Hopefully then you’ll have a better idea what you can make.
  3) How reliable is it?
Anyone can promise you a million dollars overnight. It may even be technically
possible, if all the universe aligns at the exact moment you click to sign up, but
its not likely. That’s why you must ask this question. This can be a little easier to
answer, if you pay attention. Just listen and ask yourself if its realistic. But
remember that no matter what, they will tell you that it is.
  4) What do I have to do to become involved?
This can sometimes be a tricky one too. Expect to be strung along, clicking here
and there to access this and that, without much of a solid answer. More of this
trickery is a bad thing. The sooner you can find out, the more sure you can be
that they aren’t asking for a firstborn.
As soon as you know the answer to these four questions, you will be able to give
it some thought and come up with the answer to the most important question of
them all.
Is it right for me?
This is the same question I asked before I joined Magnetic Sponsoring  After
going through these questions, I realized that Magnetic Sponsoring  was the
answer for me.
I looked at all the details, and studied it out, and eventually signed up because a
friend told me their experience with it and I wanted to get in on it,
I was excited to be able to generate 4+ streams of passive residual income,
I was excited to have real, interested leads, I was sick of all the hype filled e-books
and training courses, I wanted to gain access to the step-by-step tutorial videos.
And you know what? The Four Critical Questions Test works. It has been great so
far, and I know that I will continue to be successful because the founder and his
corporate staff have been very helpful,
It is a brilliant business model that makes perfect sense, It has been wonderful so far.
