What is one of the most popular tools all
millionaire internet marketers use? This
tool is so simple to use, yet so often NOT.
If you are expecting to earn a significant
business income, then you MUST be using this.

So, here it is...
If you are running a real business
then you must know your metrics and use
split testing/tracking software!
Track, Track, Track and Test, Test, Test.
When you test things, you can then
implement what works best.
When you track your results, you
will be able to use the knowledge you
gain to make quantum leaps in your
conversion rates.

See, internet marketing is all
about CONVERSIONS.

The higher the conversion rate,
the more leads you generate, the more
leads you generate, the more sales you
make AND the more M'ONEY you make.
Think of it like this... Let's say
you are at a ca'sino pulling down the
lever on slot machine number 1 and
you are amazingly e'arning $1.25 for
every $1.00 you put in.
Now imagine the machine right next
to you is p'aying out $2.00 for every
$1.00 spent.... If you never tested
both slot machines you would have
been stuck on the lower paying machine.
By NOT testing and tracking your results
you are basically losing out on every
pull.
A couple places to start testing
are with different Google adwords
ads and also with your lead capture
page by tracking each and every
traffic source, whether it's articles
forums, Ezines etc.

It really is this simple. Get a tracking tool
in place asap.
Our primary goal is to get as many
opt ins to our lead capture page as possible.
Besides testing all the different
ad sources that you market to... you can
also test the ad copy and conversion of
an individual site.
Here is what I mean:
For example, something you can
test is your lead capture page headline.
Sometimes changing just one word in your
headline can make a huge difference in
conversions... but you will never know
unless you run a split test to find out.
Fail to do this and you are leaving a
ton of money on the table.
So, split testing is pretty easy.
It simply means you are going to be
running two different pages on a rotator.
When visitor 1 hits your capture page,
they will see capture page 1, when
visitor 2 hits the page they will see
capture page 2 and so on back and forth
evenly distributing the hits between the
two pages.
Now, on the back end, after the person
fills out the form, you will have a small
piece of HTML code that "tracks" which
page created the lead.
Let the two different pages run for
a while (about 100 hits) and you will
be able to see which page is converting
better for you!
You can test all kinds of things...
headlines, bullet points, back ground
colors, picture vs no picture etc. Just
make sure you only change one thing each
time you test. This will make things easier
for you. Be diligent and you'll be on your
way to a high conversion website in no time.
